We will commemorate the 90th anniversary of the cessation of hostilities during the First World war with our children this week. Veterans and members of the British Legion will visit school to discuss their experiences and we will observe the minutes silence at 11.00 a.m. next Tuesday. Children are invited to make a small donation to the poppy appeal if they wish; however, we understand that many of you will have already done so in other ways.
